B2C Betting (in-person) An in-person betting licence is required if an operator plans to offer betting services from one or more premises in the State where a person attends at the premises to place the bet, or in the case of pool betting, for an event, a series of events or a class of events.
B2C Betting (remote) A remote betting licence is required if an operator plans to offer betting services by remote means, or pool betting for an event, a series of events or a class of events by remote means.
B2C Betting (in-person and remote) An in-person and remote betting licence is required to provide betting services (and/or pool betting) from one or more premises in the State where a person attends at the premises to place a bet and by remote means.
B2C Betting (remote intermediary) A remote betting intermediary licence is required if an operator plans to provide a facility that enables another person to make a bet with a person, by remote means.
B2C Gaming (in-person) An in-person gaming licence is required to provide a relevant game or games from a premises in the State to a person who attends at the premises to play the games.
B2C Gaming (remote) A remote gaming licence is required to provide a relevant game or games by remote means.
B2C Gaming (in-person and remote) An in-person and remote gaming licence is required to provide a relevant game or games
from a premises in the State to a person who attends at the premises to play the games, and
by remote means to a person resident in the State.
B2C Lottery (in-person) An in-person lottery licence is required to provide a relevant lottery from a premises in the State to a person who attends at the premises to participate in the relevant lottery.
B2C Lottery (remote) A remote lottery licence is required to provide a relevant lottery by remote means.
B2C Lottery (in-person and remote) An in-person and remote lottery licence is required to provide a relevant lottery
Scenarios
The following are some common licensing scenarios with reference to the previous relevant licenses and the future GRAI regime. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list. Please do not contact the GRAI or worry if your operations are not detailed below.

The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 allows for ‘hybrid’ licences for both in person and remote activities. These will allow for a smoother process for operators who conduct business in person and remotely.
